Art in the Park (Summer 2022)
For the past 2 years, we've held an Art in the Park event at the Kiwanis park in Battle Ground, where artists could sign up to be vendors and set up their own outdoor booths. It was a great success and a lot of fun for the community!
Spring Show
This was the largest juried show in southwest Washington. Local artists displayed works of art in a variety of media: wood, fiber, prints, sculpture, photography, glass, drawing, collage, art quilts, mosaic, oil, pastel, acrylic, watercolor, jewelry, egg art, textiles, basketry, garden art, pottery, gourds, leather, and mixed media. Because of costs, and the work and time it requires to put together this large show, the board has decided to put this on hiatus for a while. We are going to focus our efforts on doing other events.
The Battle Ground Art Alliance appreciates the participation of all the artists as we work together with the community to promote the arts.
The Battle Ground Art Alliance Spring Art Show was sponsored by the community through monetary donations from local businesses and patrons. Donations were received from, Fred Meyers, The Reflector, Battle Ground Produce, Cedar Creek Writers, and numerous individuals. Artist Award Sponsors selected an art piece and gave an award to a particular artist. Artists sponsers included: Mill Creek Pub, Celebration Jewelers, Northwood Public House & Brewery, and GFWC.
This show would not have been a success without the generous donations and support we receive from the community. The Battle Ground Art Alliance is a 501c3 nonprofit group, formed in 2001 to support and encourage artists in our community, and to increase public awareness of the arts.
