Thank you for helping us have a great show in April 2023!
Art in the Park is a fun family-friendly art event at Kiwanis Park in Battle Ground on Saturday, August 20, 2022 from 10am to 5pm.
We are looking for local (SW Washington) handmade pottery, sculpture, paintings, woodwork, glass (hot and mosaic), metal, jewelry, fiber art, photography, etc. Professional quality only please. In addition to the outdoor tent booth spaces, there will be a limited amount of panels or tables available for purchase inside the Kiwanis Building at the Park. If you would like this option, please indicate so on the application form. The Art Alliance takes no percentage and the sales are all yours.
Where: Senior Center Building in Battle Ground (116 NE 3rd Ave., Battle Ground).
Our speaker will be Tom Wheeler. He is an oil painter and his work is detailed, accomplished and beautiful. Tom loves to paint many natural subjects, including landscapes, riverbeds, wildlife and portraits. He studied Art and Illustration at Brigham Young University where he received a BFA degree in 1997. Please come and get to know him, view his lovely work and hear his art journey. Food will be served this meeting and masks will not be required. We look forward to seeing you!
We are beginning our Quarterly Socials again!
This meeting will feature mixed media collage artist Pamela Sue Johnson. Her methods are free and fun and she loves color! She will discuss her work and art journey and how she reinvented herself to follow her dream.
January 15, 2022
11am to 1:30pm
NEW LOCATION: Battle Ground Senior Center, 116 NE 3rd Ave
(This is a large room with a parking lot so social distancing will be easy!)
Please bring some of your work for artist share so we can see what you have been working on. Hope to see you there!
In order for all to be safe we have to request that ALL members attending wear a mask. The chairs will be arranged further apart to allow for social distancing. Coffee, tea and a light snack will be served with safety in mind. The food table will be separate from the meeting grouping and it is requested that you only remove your mask to eat/drink in this designated area and not carry it to your seat. Food will be served AFTER the main presentation and using serving safety protocols. If this still feels uncomfortable for you, you are free to grab food and leave. We feel this arrangement is up to safety standards at this time and is currently used in restaurants. We want you to be safe and enjoy your time with us.
