Art is my way of connecting with nature and feeding my spirit. As an artist my focus is on nature photography. Although I have few photographs of buildings, bridges, and lighthouses in my portfolio. My focus is on wildlife, flowers, and landscapes. In my landscapes I am looking for deep depths of focus with things of interest (ex. flowers) in the foreground and mountains in the background. The more colorful the better. I also love reflections.  For flowers I am looking for macro (super closeup) shots to bring out the details. The more intricate or unusual the better. For wildlife I am looking for rare (or seldom seen) species. I try to focus on the eyes because it makes connection to the viewer.  I also like action shots of animals interacting. Again, I am looking for close ups to bring out details in fur and feathers.
