Jack Androvich is a Ridgefield Washington resident, a member of the Ridgefield Art Association, and an at large board member with the Battle Ground Art Alliance.
A photographer since his teen years, he was formally trained by his university professor, an understudy to Ansel Adams. His work includes intriguing reflections, abstracts, architecture, and natural surroundings.
Inspired by photographers such as Eugene Atget, his motto is “What I see is what you get.” His images (other than cropping & contrast adjustments) are straight out of the camera without digital manipulation, double exposures, etc.
He has shown and sold his work in over 50 venues online, in the SF Bay Area, and locally including the “Our Universe” and “Altered Visions” shows this spring. He also donates several pieces per year to charitable organization auctions.
As a hobby farmer with 10 acres, the foyer of his red barn serves as a great space for preparing and showing his work.
