This year we decided to do something different and create a show with art works created by our members and exhibited at the library. The show will feature art that spans the various aspects of Our Universe from the micro level (such as nanotechnology, AI, and medical knowledge) to the cosmological universe (e.g. from new space exploration as enabled by the Hubble and Webb Telescopes) from our earth as a precious planet to our solar system, our galaxy, and billions of galaxies.
During the exhibit we will also include other features and activities such as a collaborative puzzle by the BGAA members and meet the artists receptions, workshops, and a silent auction. There will possibly be speakers on the Universe and Creative Art.
Below is a “before” photo of the center of the collaborative puzzle work – come see the completed puzzle - a collaborative work by members and how this imaginative work turns out as well as all the other exploratory artwork. Our Opening Public Reception will be on Saturday March 9 from 2:15-5:00.
