Join Tom Wheeler and learn oil painting techniques for painting rocks, water and rivers of the pacific northwest. Tom has been painting northwest subjects for over 30 years. Learn how to capture river scenes with rocks both under and above the water.
We will also discuss oil set-up, brush types and their purposes, painting strategy: (how to begin the painting, analyzing a scene, how to establish layers and details), colors and color mixing, oil mediums and solvents, how to clean up and care for equipment.
