"I have always been fascinated by the way watercolors interact with each other and the paper upon which they’re painted. I hope my paintings generate a sense of serenity and beauty."

Kathy Winters started painting years ago after being told by her daughter “You can do this Mom!” and handed a brush and some watercolors. She has taken classes from several instructors over the years, but feels the best way to improve is to paint…paint…paint.

She is represented by Camas Gallery and is a member of the Battle Ground Art Alliance, the Ridgefield Arts Association and the Northwest Watercolor Society.

Landscapes, water scenes, flowers, bids, animals, people – Kathy Winters captures them all in vibrant transparent watercolors. Her realistic paintings of Northwest scenes are noted for her use of color and sense of joy. Kathy has original paintings, digital prints, note cards and other items for sale.
